Hi! I’m Ayse, the artist and manager behind Tombix
Currently studying at Bristol Veterinary School, animals are at the heart of everything I do.
Dog training, especially Mondioring, holds a special place in my heart. I love to create art that peaks the interest of fellow dog trainers and stock goods that I know other pet owners can love and trust!
We at Tombix only stock what we’re happy to use with our own pets.
We would never sell something that would be unethical, unsafe or unproven.
What we stock is tried and tested in-house- we review each product honestly and provide a rating for our toys and chews to help you decide what would be best suited for your animals!
So, what’s with the name?
Tombix is the name affectionately given to my Dog’s Trust lad, Toby
Toby has encouraged me through the years to try new things and push myself in ways I could have never imagined. Through trials and tribulations, I have experienced the best and worst of dog ownership with him.
He’s helped me grow into a more knowledgable trainer and I’ve helped him learn, along with myself, that the world is not so scary when you have good company! We’ve helped eachother become better beings over time, and now work together to help others improve their relationship with their own pets too.
All goods stocked are tried and tested through our small team. Whether its toughness-testing toys through Toby’s shredding jaws or assessing the durability of our handmade vinyl stickers on our own phones, everything we list has our confidence behind it. We are proud to stock what we’re sure you’ll love!
I owe everything I’ve achieved to him, hence why this brand is under his name. It’s the least he deserves ♥
Our Ethics
Environmentally
Conscientiousness
We make an effort to use recyclable and more sustainable packaging and providing sturdy products that last longer to stay away from landfill. Despite being a retailer, we aren’t about fast fashion. Because we care about the environment and the creatures that live in it, we are still finding ways to further shrink our carbon pawprint.
We are currently achieving this by using biodegradable and compostable Green Jiffy Bags® and boxes made from majority recycled material. Our packaging is recycled, recyclable and repurposed wherever possible.
Our badges and magnets are handmade to order, meaning no waste products and no waste plastic. Our vinyl stickers and keychains are made in small batches to avoid unnecessary waste. All of our cellophane packaging are made from naturally derived ingredients and we are looking to provide compostable cellophane for future stocked products.
However, we have plenty further to go when it comes to reducing our pawprints and we are consistently working towards a greener business.

We are currently a team of 3 at Tombix- as small as it gets! However we love to collaborate with local artists and independant professionals across the country to brainstorm new ideas and test our products thoroughly before putting them into the market. We work with local trainers, animal behaviourists, veterinary professionals and their beloved pets to test each product we get in to stock, assuring they meet our high standards.
Even though there’s only 3 of us in-house, our team is every invaluable individual who has worked with us to make Tombix happen. We thank you wholeheartedly!

We’re pro adoption and responsible breeders
At Tombix we stand close by our shared ethics. We may differ by training styles, but as professionals that put animal welfare and science paramount, we can agree on our core values.
As all our in-house team and most of our collaborators have rescued dogs, we are naturally pro-adoption. We are also pro-shop in encouraging ethical, responsible breeders who are honest with their pets’ health and temperament and care for their litters far beyond their market value.
We priotitize owner education and full transparency with whoever you’re getting your animal from, regardless if it’s a rescue or a breeder. Both have the capacity for abuse, neglect and suffering. It’s up to the humans to make the responsible, scrutinized decision.
Our love for reputable rescues run deep and we have previously raised money for establishments who hold special places within our lives. We hope to collaborate with more rescues in the future to fund their amazing work!
